As an innovative, driven college student, you want an internship that gives you valuable experience and the opportunity to apply your talents to making a difference. That’s exactly what Great Lakes internships are designed to provide.

Whether interning in software and systems development, marketing, or other functions, you'll receive guidance and support from mentors and supervisors to enrich your experience. You will also work in a dynamic environment and contribute to real, important projects that help Great Lakes advance its technologies, solutions, and results.

  • Interns will have the opportunity to work with Java, COBOL, JSP, JavaScript, SQL, HTML5, and CSS3. Interns will gain experience using XML and JSON, while working with frameworks such as Spring Framework, jQuery, AngularJS.

  • Developers will work to build and maintain Java applications and web services, and gain familiarity with database programming and queueing technologies.

Internships can be applied for at Great Lakes Higher Education Corporation and Great Lakes Educational Loan Services, Inc. when they are available.

  • If I gave my resume to a Career Fair Representative, do I still need to apply?
  • Resumes from all career fairs will be reviewed by department leaders. However, to be considered for the position you must complete the full application for the position(s) you are interested in pursuing.
